I believe that everyday objects have the power to surprise - delight! - the people that use them. We form relationships with that special cup we use for coffee or water every day; it's texture, surfaces become part of the fabric of our day, drawings on the wall and favorite books become part of us. They talk to our hands when we touch them.
I delight in making things that are fun to use. I love oversized ceramic mugs that keep water cold next to the bed at night and also work great filled with juice and booze in the afternoon. Plates that beg to be filled up with delicate snacks gives me paroxysms of joy. Super dope party bowls for special occasions send me over the moon - especially when they're set on fire!
These mugs are a celebration of the Bay Area and feature the throwback MUNI livery, and drawings of my fellow passengers in iron oxide.
Hide a Mug - Find a Mug
Periodically, I’ll make mugs to hide around for people to find. Here’s some I hid at Camp Tipsy 2019.
